Abstract

This research is driven by the importance of integrating technology into sports coaching to overcome the limitations of manual observation in sprinting techniques. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between the use of motion-based audio-visual learning media and the results of speed tests and measurements among athletes at Club Sprint Lubuklinggau. The research method employed is a quantitative correlation approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population consisted of all 20 athletes at Club Sprint Lubuklinggau, with a sample of 10 athletes selected using purposive sampling techniques. The primary instrument used was a 60-meter sprint test. The results showed a decrease in the average travel time from 9.18 seconds (pre-test) to 8.92 seconds (post-test), indicating a speed improvement of 0.26 seconds. Based on the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, the correlation coefficient (r) was 0.659 with a significance value of (p) = 0.038 < 0.05. This indicates a significant, positive, and strong relationship between the use of motion-based audio-visual learning media and the increase in athlete speed. In conclusion, the utilization of audio-visual motion media is effective in optimizing test results and speed measurements through more accurate movement technique improvements.
